Every Sunday at 1 pm in Youngstown: Interreligious Prayers for Immigrants. Weekly public prayer vigils for detained immigrants held in the Mahoning County Jail, NEO Federal Prison, or at an indoor location in the area. First and third Thursdays at the Mahoning County Jail, second and fourth Thursdays at the NEO Federal Prison. Vigils are outside on the sidewalk, bring a chair if needed, and wear weather appropriate clothing. Participants may share prayer, poetry, petitions, signs, and readings, if they want; others may participate by attending. Individuals from all faith backgrounds are welcome. The Mahoning County Jail is located at 110 5th Street in Youngstown. The NEO Federal Prison is located at 2240 Hubbard Road in Youngstown.
